What we do

In an ideal world this website wouldn’t exist, a client would acknowledge the importance of having web copy before the design starts. Needless to say it’s very important, content is king and people are beginning to understand that. However, back over in reality some project schedules and budgets don’t allow for web copy to be written before the design phase.

How we do

In an ideal world this website wouldn’t exist, a client would acknowledge the importance of having web copy before the design starts. Needless to say it’s very important, content is king and people are beginning to understand that. However, back over in reality some project schedules and budgets don’t allow for web copy to be written before the design phase.

Magan is a native of Longview, Texas, and was raised there by her grandmother, practically from birth. They never had much money but always managed to get by. She was always strong-willed, at times clashing with her grandma; in her early teenage years, the tension between them reached a head when her grandma became so emotionally and physically abusive that she was placed in protective services. Magan spent two long years there, and while it removed her from physical danger, it inflicted its own brand of wounds that she struggled with for the remainder of her childhood.

She eventually moved back to Longview with her grandmother for high school, where the environment was still the same overall, but she deemed it better to endure that and be cared about in a twisted way than to be merely a number in a system.
During high school Magan accomplished many things, such as starting a social network that gained almost 10,000 registered users, getting an award from Longview Chamber of Commerce for her entrepreneurial efforts, tutoring students with their course work, and even supporting her school in extra-curricular activities such as band, student council, yearbook, and newspaper.

After sticking it out at home for a while, the situation eventually got bad enough that she felt forced to pursue emancipation at the young age of 17. Magan was able to finish high school early at this point and pursue her goals and dreams full-time.

She took a liking to Hot Wheels, Forza video games, and Motor Trend magazines as a young child and never lost those loves. Before her dad passed when she was very young, he had a red BMW E36 M3 that formed the basis of her affinity for the brand. When she moved out on her own, she did so with a 2011 Ford Fusion, to which she later made some modifications in order to autocross with Texas A&M Sports Car Club (TAMSCC).

Magan started drag racing at the club level when she purchased a 2017 Dodge Charger 392. After getting her feet wet and having a successful season, her attention migrated elsewhere, though to this day she would still bolt on her Weld wheels and enjoy a track day at the strip.

In 2016, Magan started working for one of the biggest drag racing events in Texas and met a man who was a supporter of TAMSCC that owned a road racing team. Eventually she was thrown over pit wall at a World Racing League event and never looked back.

She found a BMW E46 M3 to honor her dad with plans to learn all she could about what makes cars tick and how to put them, and the driver, on the podium.
Terry Fair (TAMSCC) saw this drive in her and eventually made her part of the Vorshlag racing team, where the focus is E46 chassis development in endurance racing. Since 2019 she has been helping to build the shop race car and plans to make her driving debut in the 2021 season.

Magan is working hard to pay her dues the right way, crewing for teams, learning the craft, and is thankful and humbled that with where she came from – the south side of Longview on government assistance – she’s made it this far.
It’s a success story that hopefully continues as she races into the future and lights up any room she is in with her infectious personality and drive.
